Jean-François Grou is 20-20 Technologies’ Chief Executive Officer. He has spent the past 25 years honing his skills in general management, business repositioning and rapid business deployment in the information technology sector and has had many international successes. Jean-François joined the company in 1999 as its Chief Operating Officer and was appointed President and COO in 2001. His extensive experience has given him well-rounded knowledge of the intricate process of the full business cycle, making him able to shepherd the company unscathed through the worst recession in decades. Together with the company’s founder, he successfully led 20-20 Technologies through its initial public offering in 2004 and through an impressive series of acquisitions from 2000 to the end of the decade to sustain its growth strategy.
Prior to joining 20-20 Technologies, Jean-François was Vice President of European Operations at LGS Group Inc., a Canadian IT consulting and systems integration firm that had over 2,000 skilled professionals in its employ in Canada and Europe. He was also appointed General Manager for Anabel SA, a software development subsidiary of LGS Europe. During his tenure, revenues as Anabel SA increased from $3 million in 1991 to $11 million in 1997. Jean-François began his career at Andersen Consulting as an information technology consultant.
Jean-François has an entrepreneurial bent, having creating a software company to automate the sales and management of general insurance dealers. He also developed a small French software outfit into a European leader in retail software solutions with implementations across Europe and in Asia.
Jean-François holds a bachelor of business administration degree with a major in finance from the École des Hautes Études Commerciales in Montreal.
